This month we are supporting two Human Library projects – one across the libraries of Central Bedfordshire, as part of Bedford Creative Art‘s programme, and the other one as part of Juice Festival in Newcastle and Gateshead.

Human Library is one of our favourite projects. It started in Denmark in 2000 and now takes place all over the world. Human Libraries invite people to challenge stereotypes, promoting dialogue, reducing prejudices and encouraging understanding.

We’ve been hosting Human Library projects since 2011 – you can read some of our book reviews here and the thoughts of one of our books here.

We’ll be running training events over the next few weeks with both groups, getting their new Books proof-read, printed and bound ready to be read!

Meanwhile, these are the dates for your diaries.
