City-wide regeneration schemes, self-build community projects, protest marches, choreographed performance: architecture is informed by, and informs, the way people move through space.

This collective bike ride from the west to the east of Newcastle took in views and spaces around the city. It navigated many paths inaccessible to larger vehicles, and caused a gentle spectacle for drivers on the roads.

Life without Buildings was the first of three projects by Nicola Singh and xsite architecture  that explored how the ethics and possibilities of human movements and actions can affect the architecture of our cities.

In Praise of Shadows, We Stand Out The Most When We Stand Together and the talk series To Make The Stone Stoney followed in 2013.
