“Basically, it’s a kind of film-making-production-line that squeezes the imagination out of anybody who comes along, mixes it with everybody else’s and puts it on video.”

Segue is like a film making production line where participants go through the processes of creating a short film in less than 2 hours. Starting with narrative, plot and storyboard, they quickly move on to props, costume and make-up before finishing on the set with the director, lights and camera. The short films were mixed together to create a final longer film.

The People Speak team spent a week with visitors to the space at High Bridge Gallery, Newcastle to create, film and edit the video. It was screened at the on the final day of the 2011 Wunderbar Festival.
